First look at the new streaming service's horror series.
Short for "Quick bites", Quibi is a new streaming service dedicated to bite-size content, which makes it a perfect platform for an anthology of horror shorts. Enter Executive Producer Sam Raimi's 50 States of Fright, which spins a tale of terror based on an urban legend local to one of each of America's states.
The first season will consist of nine episodes directed by Scott Beck, Lee Cronin, Brian Netto, Adam Schindler, Ryan Spindell, Bryan Woods, Catherine Devaney, Daniel Goldhaber and Yoko Okumura and focus on the states of Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, and Washington.
Cast members include such names as Taissa Farmiga, Ron Livingston, Rachel Brosnahan, Asa Butterfield, Rory Culkin, Travis Fimmel, James Ransone, Karen Allen and Christina Ricci.
Quibi launches in the US on April 6th, but we're still waiting for confirmation of its UK launch.
