Corbucci's western is coming to UK blu-ray this May.
French rocker Johnny Hallyday takes the lead role in Sergio Corbucci's 1969 spaghetti western The Specialists. Hallyday plays a gunfighter who arrives in a one horse town seeking vengeance for the lynching of his brother.
The Specialists makes its UK home video debut on May 18th when Eureka Entertainment release it on blu-ray from a new 4k restoration.
Bonus features include an audio commentary by filmmaker and spaghetti western buff Alex Cox; a new and exclusive interview with author Austin Fisher; and a trailer. The first 2000 units come in a limited edition slipcase with a collector's booklet featuring new writing by western authority Howard Hughes on both the film, and the “French-western” sub-genre.
