The Pulp Fiction writer returns with a new crime thriller.
Roger Avary (Killing Zoe; The Rules of Attraction) might be best known as the Oscar winning co-writer of Pulp Fiction and returns as director with another crime thriller in Lucky Day.
Avary's latest stars Luke Bracey as a released convict who joins up with his wife (Nina Dobrev) only to find himself and his family targeted by a vengeful hitman (Crispin Glover).
Lucky Day is in US cinemas and VOD October 11th. A UK release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
Finally out of prison, safe-cracker Red (Bracey) rejoins his wife (Dobrev) and daughter and vows to go straight. But psychotic French hit-man Luc (Glover) has also come to town, seeking revenge against Red for the death of Luc’s brother — leading to a very unlucky showdown.
