First look at the latest version of the enduring backstage drama.
First filmed in 1937, A Star Is Born was remade in '54 and '76, and a fourth version of the backstage drama hits screens later this year courtesy of first time director Bradley Cooper, who also stars in the role previously played by Frederic March, James Mason and Kris Kristofferson. Lady Gaga steps into the shoes previously worn by Janet Gaynor, Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand. Andrew Dice Clay, Dave Chappelle and Sam Elliott also feature.

The official synopsis reads:
In this new take on the tragic love story, he plays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who discovers—and falls in love with—struggling artist Ally (Gaga). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer… until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight.
