One of the most anticipated movies screening at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival and the BFI London Film
Festival is writer/director Sam Mendes'
Empire of Light. The movie is set in a small English coastal town in the early '80s and
is centred around the impact the town's cinema has on its residents.
Olivia Colman, Colin Firth, Toby Jones, Micheal Ward, Tom Brooke, Tanya Moodie, Hannah Onslow and
Crystal Clarke star.
Empire of Light is in UK/ROI cinemas from January 13th,
2023.
