For his latest directorial effort, Flag Day, Sean Penn casts himself alongside his daughter Dylan Penn.
The film is based on the true story of John Vogel (Sean Penn), America's
greatest counterfeiter, as seen through the eyes of his daughter (Dylan
Penn).
Katheryn Winnick, Josh Brolin, Norbert Leo Butz, Dale Dickey, Eddie Marsan, Bailey
Noble
and Hopper Jack Penn also star.
Flag Day is in US cinemas from August 20th. A UK/ROI
release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
Jennifer Vogel’s father John was larger than life. As a child, Jennifer marveled at his magnetizing energy and ability to make life feel like a grand adventure. He taught her so much about love and joy, but he also happened to be the most notorious counterfeiter in US history.
