Fred Dekker's '80s genre gem comes to UK blu.
Horror and comedy are the most difficult genres to pull off, so it's not surprising when a horror-comedy falls flat, as so many have over the years. One of the classics of the horror-comedy sub-genre however is Fred Dekker's 1986 romp Night of the Creeps, which comes to dual format blu-ray/DVD from Eureka Video on October 8th.
Featuring an unforgettable performance by genre legend Tom Atkins ("Thrill me!"), Dekker's film features aliens, zombie college bros and an adorable romance.
Eureka's disc features Dekker's original director's cut along with a commentary track and video interview with the director; a commentary from actors Atkins, Jason Lively, Steve Marshall and Jill Whitlow; an hour-long 'making of'; a featurette on Atkins; deleted scenes; the original ending; and a trailer.
