A trio of clips from writer/director Jenny Lu's feature debut.
Writer/director Jenny Lu's feature debut The Receptionist tells the story of Tina (Teresa Daley), a young Taiwanese immigrant who finds herself working as a recptionist/housekeeper in a brothel in suburban London.
Three new clips have been released from Lu's film, which opens in UK cinemas July 20th. Check them out below.
The official synopsis reads:
Unable to find a job, Tina, a Taiwanese recent graduate living in London, starts working in an illegal massage parlour as a receptionist. As she gradually comes to know the women in this most dysfunctional of artificial families, where sex lies at the core of everything, she sees how they struggle to find a way to make their lives work, with an undercurrent of violence and danger always lurking.
