Grace of Monaco gets a Happy Meal.

Back in the 1970s, Hollywood and the fast food industry formed a partnership, with Burger King outlets selling Star Wars tumblers while McDonalds offered a series of Star Trek: The Motion Picture toys with purchases of Happy Meals. Since then it's become customary for restaurant chains to host tie-ins with blockbuster releases.
You might not expect a film like Grace of Monaco to have a tie-in like this, however, but the five star London hotel The Royal Horseguards is hosting what you might call an upper class Happy Meal, with their limited edition Grace of Monaco 'Afternoon Tea'.
According to a press release from the hotel, "Traditional afternoon tea in The Lounge will be transformed into a glamorous affair fit for a princess with themed Grace of Monaco delicacies. In-house mixologists have especially designed a signature cocktail, 'My Nerves Could Use A Drink’, made from rose petal infusion, rose crystals and Laurent-Perrier Rosé Champagne, based on the princess’ fondness of the flower. Delicious handmade desserts including a Coral Chocolate Lipstick based on the make up designed for Princess Grace by Estee Lauder and a 'Black & White Shot' inspired by Grace’s favourite chocolate milkshake have been especially created by resident chef and chocolatier Joanne Todd. Themed savoury bites such as Princess Grace’s Favourite Mini American Hamburgers will sit alongside a traditional selection of elegant finger sandwiches."
The customised Afternoon Tea will set punters back £45 and is available at the hotel from June 2nd to 15th. Is this the poshest movie tie-in ever?
