Writer/director George Jaques follows up his road movie Black Dog with another coming of age drama. Sunny Dancer stars Bella Ramsey as Ivy, a teenager with cancer who is sent off to spend her summer at a "chemo camp." There she finds kinship in a group of teens all going through her experience.
The film also stars James Norton, Jessica Gunning, Neil Patrick Harris, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Earl Cave, Ruby Stokes, Conrad Khan and Jasmine Elcock.
Sunny Dancer is in UK/ROI cinemas from August 14th.

The official synopsis reads:
Hanging out with mates and partying hard… that’s how most teenage girls get to spend their last summer before turning 18. But not Ivy.
