Mean Girls meets The Craft in director Meredith Alloway's horror comedy Forbidden Fruits. Co-written with Lily Houghton, the movie stars Lili Reinhart as Apple, the head of a coven of witches who operate from the basement of a mall store. When Apple recruits new member Pumpkin (Lola Tung), she finds her leadership under threat.
Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Chamberlain and Gabrielle Union also star.
Forbidden Fruits is in US cinemas from March 27th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
Free Eden employee Apple secretly runs a witchy femme cult in the basement of the mall store after hours - with fellow fruits Cherry and Fig. But when new hire Pumpkin challenges their performative sisterhood, the women are forced to face their own poisons or succumb to a bloody fate.
