Directed by Gabriele Mainetti (Freaks Out), The Forbidden City brings Asian action to Europe as a Chinese woman, Mei, travels to Rome in search of her sister. Teaming up with local man Marcello, who is similarly searching for his father, Mei fights her way through the city's criminal underworld.
The film stars Yaxi Liu, Enrico Borello, Sabrina Ferilli, Marco Giallini, Shanshan Chunyu and Luca Zingaretti.
The Forbidden City is on US VOD from March 17th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
