Based on the viral online urban legend of "backrooms," liminal spaces said to trap anyone who gets stuck within their neverending maze of rooms and corridors, Backrooms sees writer/director Kane Parsons develop his popular web series into his feature debut at the tender age of 20. The script is co-written with Robert Patino and Will Soodik, but plot details have yet to be unveiled.
The film stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett and Lukita Maxwell.
Backrooms is in UK/ROI cinemas from May 29th.
