
The latest classic Universal monster to get the reboot treatment is The Mummy. Writer/director Lee Cronin (The Hole in the Ground; Evil Dead Rises) is in charge for this one. His film sees a young girl disappear in the desert only to return to her family years later in monstrous form.
Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace and Veronica Falcón star.
The Mummy is in UK/ROI cinemas from April 17th.

The official synopsis reads:
