Evil Dead director Sam Raimi's Send Help sees Rachel McAdams play Linda, a put-upon employee who finds herself stranded on a remote island following a company plane crash. To her initial horror the only other survivor is her bullying boss Bradley (Dylan O'Brien). But with Bradley incapacitated by injury, Linda finally has the chance to show him who's boss.

Kristen Stewart makes her directorial debut with The Chronology of Water, adapted from the memoir by Lidia YuknavitchImogen Poots plays Lidia, a troubled young woman from a violent background who finds a way to escape her troubles through writing.



My Father's Shadow

My Father's Shadow (Feb 6th)
The UK has chosen Akinola Davies Jr's directorial debut My Father's Shadow as its submission for Best International Feature Film at this year's Academy Awards. The semi-autobiographical film stars Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù as a father who traverses a volatile Lagos with his two sons (first-timers Godwin Egbo and Chibuike Marvellous Egbo) amid the 1993 Nigerian election crisis.



Twinless

Twinless (Feb 6th)
James Sweeney writes, directs and stars in black comedy Twinless. He plays Dennis, who becomes friends with Roman (Dylan O'Brien) when the two men join a support group for separated twins. Things take a twist when both men turn out to be harbouring secrets.



Crime 101

Crime 101 (Feb 13th)
Writer/director Bart Layton follows up American Animals with another crime thriller, adapting Don Winslow's novella Crime 101. The film sees Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry play a professional thief and insurance broker who team up to pull off a major heist in Los Angeles. Mark Ruffalo plays the determined detective on their tail.



Whistle

Whistle (Feb 13th)
Directed by Corin Hardy (The Hallow) and written by Owen EgertonWhistle sees an Aztec Death Whistle fall into the hapless hands of a group of high school students. To their detriment, the teens discover that blowing the instrument has deadly consequences.



If I Had Legs I'd Kick You

If I Had Legs I'd Kick You (Feb 20th)
17 years after making her feature debut with 2008's Yeast, writer/director Mary Bronstein delivers her second film, If I Had Legs I'd Kick You. The film stars Rose Byrne, who picked up a Golden Globe and Oscar nomination for her portrayal of a woman juggling various personal and family crises.



The Secret Agent

The Secret Agent (Feb 20th)
Kleber Mendonça Filho (Bacurau) scooped the Best Director prize at this year's Cannes Film festival for his political thriller The Secret Agent. Set in 1977 during the dying days of Brazil's military dictatorship, the film sees Oscar nominated actor Wagner Moura play a political refugee who hides out in the coastal city of Recife, only to find himself under surveillance.



The Testament of Ann Lee

The Testament of Ann Lee (Feb 20th)
The story of Ann Lee, founder of the religious sect known as the Shakers, is brought to the screen as a musical by writer/director Mona Fastvold (The World to Come). Amanda Seyfried plays Lee in a film that combines traditional Shaker hymns with new songs written by Daniel Blumberg and choreography by Celia Rowlson-Hall.



Sirat

Sirat (Feb 27th)
A decade after Mimosas, French-Spanish filmmaker Óliver Laxe returns to Morocco for this drama set in the country's underground rave scene. Sergi López plays a father who joins a group of nomad ravers travelling the desert as he searches for his missing daughters. The tense journey through hostile terrain has drawn favourable comparisons to William Friedkin's Sorcerer.
