
James McAvoy makes his directorial debut with California Schemin'. Written by Archie Thomson and Elaine Gracie, the film tells the true story of Scottish rap duo Silibil N' Brains, who posed as a Californian hip-hop act in order to achieve their success.
McAvoy stars alongside Samuel Bottomley, Séamus McLean Ross, Lucy Halliday and Rebekah Murrell.
California Schemin' is in UK/ROI cinemas from April 10th, 2026.
