A throwback to the gruesome Italian cannibal movies of the 1970s, director Howard J. Ford's River of Blood sees a group of kayakers take a wrong turn on their jungle trip and end up on the menu of some hostile natives.
Written by Tom Boyle, the film stars Joseph Millson, Louis James, Ella Starbuck, Sarah Alexandra Marks and David Wayman.
River of Blood is in US cinemas and VOD from August 1st. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
