
Directed by Derek Cianfrance (Blue Valentine) and co-written with Kirt Gunn, Roofman is inspired by a real story. Channing Tatum plays Jeffrey, a burglar who specialises in robbing branches of McDonald's by entering through their rooves. After a prison breakout, Jeffrey hides out in a Toys “R” Us, where he falls for a divorced mother (Kirsten Dunst), putting his freedom at risk.
Ben Mendelsohn, LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Melonie Diaz, Uzo Aduba, Lily Collias, Jimmy O. Yang and Peter Dinklage also star.
Roofman is in UK/ROI cinemas from October 17th.
