Inspired by the real life phenomenon of the Phoenix Lights, director Adam Finberg's Star People sees Kat Cunning play a photographer who follows a lead that she believes ties in with her childhood experience of a UFO sighting. As she seeks answers her quest is thwarted by sinister strangers and a deadly heatwave.
The film also stars McCabe Slye, Connor Paolo, Eddie Martinez, Bradley Fisher and Adriana Aluna Martinez.
Star People is in US cinemas from July 25th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
