First Trailer and Poster for Retro Slasher BRUTE 1976
First look at director Marcel Walz's throwback slasher.

Directed by Marcel Walz (Pretty Boy) from a script by Joe Knetter, Brute 1976 pays homage to the classic slashers of the 1970s. The film sees two groups unwittingly stumble upon an abandoned desert town where a family of murderous psychos reside.

"I've always been a huge fan of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes, both the originals and remakes," says Walz. "Brute 1976 was an amazing experience to shoot: It was hot, it was dirty and it was bloody. I'm sure the audience will feel that on screen."

The film stars Adriane McLean, Sarah French, Gigi Gustin, Dazelle Yvette and Adam Bucci.

Brute 1976 is in US cinemas and on VOD from August 26th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
