Written and directed by António Sequeira in his feature debut, Autumn chronicles the struggles of a Portuguese family to adapt when the eldest son leaves for London.
"As a Portuguese filmmaker, I have always been passionate about telling stories that bring underrepresented voices to the forefront," says Sequeira. "Growing up in the countryside of Portugal, I witnessed first hand the struggles of its people, who often feel left behind in an ever-changing world. I believe it is now time for their voices to be heard."
The film stars Beatriz Frazão, Elsa Valentim, Miguel Frazão and Salvador Gil.
Autumn is on UK/ROI VOD from June 2nd.
