Writer/director Sean Baker (Tangerine; Red Rocket) scooped the top prize Palme d'Or at this year's Cannes Film Festival
with Anora. It's yet another film from Baker with a sex worker protagonist, in this
case Anora (Mikey Madison), a Vegas stripper who falls
for Vanya (Mark Eidelstein), the son of a Russian oligarch. Anora
and Vanya's relationship is threatened when it's discovered by the
latter's parents.
The film also stars Yuri Borisov, Karren Karagulian, Vache Tovmasyan, Lindsey Normington,
Ivy Wolk, Luna Sofía Miranda, Alena Gurevich, Aleksei Serebryakov and Darya Ekamasova.
Anora is in UK/ROI cinemas from November 1st.

From acclaimed director Sean Baker, ANORA follows a young sex worker from Brooklyn who gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and impulsively marries the son of an oligarch. Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as the parents set out for New York to get the marriage annulled.
