Joaquin Phoenix returns to the role of the Joker for director Todd Phillips' sequel to his smash hit 2019 reimagining of the Batman nemesis. Co-written with Scott Silver, Joker: Folie á Deux sees the Joker incarcerated in Arkham Asylum where he meets a psychiatrist, Harleen Quinzel (Lady Gaga), who falls for the madman and becomes the iconic Harley Quinn. Oh, and it's a musical with a reported 15 musical numbers.
The film also stars Zazie Beetz, Brendan Gleeson, Steve Coogan and Catherine Keener.
Joker: Folie á Deux is in cinemas from October 4th.
