Writer/director Adam Schimberg reteams with his
Chained for Life star Adam Pearson for black comedy
A Different Man. The film sees Sebastian Stan play Edward, who like Pearson in
real life, has neurofibromitosis. When Edward undergoes cosmetic surgery
to change his appearance, he becomes obsessed with the actor (Pearson)
portraying him a stage play based on his former life.
The film also stars Renate Reinsve, C. Mason Wells, Owen Kline, Charlie Kosmo, Patrick
Wang
and Michael Shannon as himself.
A Different Man is in US cinemas from September 20th. A
UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

Aspiring actor Edward undergoes a radical medical procedure to drastically transform his appearance. But his new dream face quickly turns into a nightmare, as he loses out on the role he was born to play and becomes obsessed with reclaiming what was lost.
