While its sequel, Badland Hunters, is already available to view on Netflix, UK/ROI viewers will finally be
able to see Concrete Utopia in April. Submitted as Korea's
entry to this year's Oscars, director Um Tae-hwa's film is set in a near future Korea that has been
destroyed by a massive earthquake. With one apartment block left standing
in Seoul, the building initially serves as a beacon of hope until the
survivors give in to their worst instincts.
Lee Byung-hun, Park Seo-joon, Park Bo-young, Kim Sun-young, Park
Ji-hu
and Kim Do-yoon star.

The official synopsis reads:
When an earthquake reduces almost all of Seoul to smoking ruins, miraculously one building remains standing; Hwang Gung Apartments. Surrounded by destruction, the survivors try to restore order but as outsiders begin to seek refuge the residents soon realise that the real disaster is yet to come.
