Directed by Edouard Salier and co-written by Mauricio Carrasco, Tropic stars Pablo Cobo and Louis Peres as twins training
for an astronaut programme. When one of them is contaminated by a
mysterious substance that gives him a monstrous form, the other brother is
forced to adapt to their new life. Marta Nieto also
stars.

The official synopsis reads:
Twin brothers Lázaro and Tristán are training for a launch that is set to be a historic colonisation effort. While training, an alien entity crashes nearby contaminating Tristán with a mysterious residue, changing him forever. This disaster forces Lázaro to let go of how he remembers his brother and learn to love him as he is now, in a world where there is no room for monsters.
