The Devil Went Down to Islington is a comic riff on the
legend of blues musician Robert Johnson selling his soul to the Devil.
Spencer Brown plays a struggling music teacher who along with a
mate (James Lance) strikes a similar pact by mistake. With the aid
of a priest (Michael Smiley), the pair attempt to break the deal
and save their souls.
The film also stars Sophie Colquhoun, Dominic Coleman, Mark Benton and
Ronni Ancona.
The Devil Went Down to Islington is on UK/ROI VOD from
October 23rd.

The official synopsis reads:
Set over the Halloween weekend, this thrilling and hilarious comedy-horror follows an underachieving music teacher (Spencer Brown - Nathan Barley) and his dodgy colleague (James Lance - Ted Lasso) who end a big night out by unwittingly selling their souls to the devil for three days' good fortune.
Soon realising their grave mistake they find themselves in a race against the clock to break the deal and save their futures.
