Written and directed by Christopher Fox in his feature debut,
Rub follows the lonely Neal (Michah Spayer) as his
relationship with a massage parlour worker (Jennifer Figuereo) leads to deadly consequences he could have
never anticipated.
Westley Barrington Artope and PJ Landers also star.
"Rub is a film for anyone who's struggled with feeling like an outsider," Fox
says of his debut. "Writing the script in 2020 and coming out of the pandemic, mental health
has been an issue across all walks of society and I wanted to tell a
different kind of love story."
Rub is on US VOD from August 1st. A UK/ROI release has yet
to be announced.
