Directed by Andrés Beltrán (Tarumama) and written by Matt Pitts (Westworld), Quicksand stars Carolina Gaitàn and Allan Hawco as an estranged American
couple who travel to Colombia for a work conference. When a hike through the
local rainforest leads to them becoming stuck in quicksand with a venomous
snake in the vicinity, they must put their differences aside to figure out
how to escape their predicament.
Quicksand is on Shudder from July 14th.

The official synopsis reads:
In Quicksand, an American couple, on the brink of divorce, travel to Colombia for a work conference. While on a hike through the rainforest, a storm causes them to become trapped in a pit of quicksand. Unable to move, it becomes a struggle for survival as they battle the elements of the jungle and a venomous snake, in order to escape. Starring Carolina Gaitàn (Encanto) and Allan Hawco (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan).
