New Trailer and Poster for Alice Winocour’s PARIS MEMORIES
The French drama comes to UK/ROI cinemas in August.

Written and directed by Alice Winocour (Disorder; Proxima), Paris Memories stars Virginie Efira as Mia, a survivor of a terrorist attack in Paris. As she attempts to rebuild her life she connects with other survivors including the injured Thomas (Benoît Magimel). You can read our review here.

Winocour was inspired by her brother, who survived the attack on the Bataclan venue in November 2015.

"My brother was at the Bataclan on November 13th," Winocour recounts. "While he was hiding, I stayed in contact with him by text for part of the night. The film was inspired by my own memories of the trauma and by the account my brother gave in the days after the attack. I experienced for myself how events are deconstructed, and often reconstructed, by memory."

Paris Memories is in UK/ROI cinemas from August 4th.
