Prolific Japanese filmmaker Kinji Fukasaku's 1981 fantasy epic
Samurai Reincarnation stars Kenji Sawada as a demon who assembles a team of undead warriors,
with only a samurai (Sonny Chiba) standing in their path.
Newly restored in 2K, Samurai Reincarnation makes its UK
bluray debut courtesy of Eureka Entertainment on June 19th.
Special features include the original Japanese and English audio
versions; a new audio commentary by Tom Mes; a new interview with filmmaker Kenta Fukasaku; the original Japanese
trailer; and a collectors booklet featuring new writing on the film.

The official synopsis reads:
In the aftermath of a failed rebellion, Amakusa Shiro (Kenji Sawada) is crucified, but returns as a vengeance-filled demon with the power to resurrect the dead. Shiro uses his power to assemble a team of undead warriors—including legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi (Ken Ogata)—and the only one who can stop them is the wandering samurai, Yagyu Jubei (Sonny Chiba).
