Sachs' drama comes to UK/ROI cinemas in September.

Directed by Ira Sachs (Frankie; Little Men) and co-written with Mauricio Zacharias, Paris set drama Passages stars Franz Rogowski as a filmmaker who embarks on an affair with a teacher (Adèle Exarchopoulos), only to grow insecure when his husband (Ben Whishaw) begins his own affair.

Passages is in UK/ROI cinemas from September 1st.

The official synopsis reads:

After completing his latest project, filmmaker Tomas (FRanz Rogowski) impulsively begins a heated love affair with a young school teacher, Agathe (Adèle Exarchopoulos). For Tomas, the novelty of being with a woman is an exciting experience that he is eager to explore despite his marriage to Martin (Ben Whishaw). But when Martin begins his own affair, the mercurial Tomas refocuses his attention on his husband.
