Writer/director Mark Jenkin follows up his acclaimed debut
Bait with an entry in the folk-horror genre. Set in 1973,
Enys Men stars Mary Woodvine as a wildlife volunteer
who finds nightmarish new horizons opening up by the discovery of a
mysterious plant on a remote island.
The film also stars Edward Rowe, John Woodvine and
Flo Crowe.
Enys Men is in UK/ROI cinemas from January 13th.

ENYS MEN is a mind-bending Cornish folk horror set in 1973 that unfolds on an uninhabited island off the Celtic Sea. A wildlife volunteer’s daily observations of a rare flower take a dark turn into the strange and metaphysical, forcing both her and viewers to question what is real and what is nightmare.
