In 1985 a drug smuggler crashed their plane in a Georgia forest, only for a
black bear to discover the wreck and ingest a large quantity of cocaine.
Fuelled by the drug, the animal went on a legendary rampage.
Directed by Elizabeth Banks (Charlie’s Angels, Pitch Perfect 2) from a screenplay by Jimmy Warden (The Babysitter: Killer Queen), Cocaine Bear brings the true story to the screen.
