Written and directed by Rasmus Merivoo, the Estonian horror Kratt is the
latest in a growing new wave of genre films emerging from the Baltic
nations. The film sees a group of kids left at their grandmothers, where
cellphone use is forbidden. While bored, they discover a way of unleashing a
mythical creature that will grant their wishes, but it will require a bloody
trade.

Kratt is on US VOD from October 11th. A UK/ROI release has
yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
Children are left at Grandma’s without smartphones. Real life seems boring, working feels hard. Luckily they find instructions for Kratt - a magical creature from old Estonian mythology who will do whatever its master says. All they have to do now is buy a soul from the Devil! Life stops being boring in a bloody way...
