Best remembered for eating rodents in '80s sci-fi sensation V, actress Jane Badler is out to scare a new generation in
David Willing's directorial debut Surrogate. The film sees a nurse (Kestie Morassi) succumb to a mysterious illness that seems to have
paranormal origins. Louise Siverson, Taysha Furragia, Ellie Stewart and
Ellie Tevelis also star.
"My favourite horror films are great pieces of drama then add the scares,
such as Ring, The Others and The Exorcist, all which influenced Surrogate," says Willing. "Fans of horror and cinema alike can expect an exciting and terrifying
ghost story with an intriguing mystery and plenty of scares in 90
minutes!"
Surrogate is on Amazon in the US from September 2nd. A
UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
