Spirit Halloween is an American chain of stores that open annually in the
weeks leading up to Halloween, specialising in flogging all manner of spooky
goods. The chain now gets its own cinematic spin-off in director
David Poag's Spirit Halloween: The Movie.
The film sees three teenagers spend Halloween night inside a newly opened
branch at their local mall, only to discover the store is haunted.
Christopher Lloyd, Rachael Leigh Cook, Donavan Colan, Dylan Frankel, Jaiden Smith and
Marissa Reyes star.
Spirit Halloween: The Movie is in US cinemas and VOD this
October. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
When a Spirit Halloween Store opens in a deserted strip mall, three middle school friends who think they’ve outgrown trick or treating make a dare to spend the night locked inside the store Halloween night. But they soon find out that the store is haunted by an angry evil spirit who has possessed the creepy animatronic characters. The kids will need to embark on a thrilling and spooky adventure in order to survive the night and avoid becoming possessed themselves.
