Directed by Jon Sanders, A Clever Woman stars
Josie Lawrence and Tanya Myers as two performance artist
sisters who return to their childhood home on the Isle of Wight to prepare
it for sale following the death of their mother. Over the course of a day
they reexamine their relationship with their mother.
James Northcote, Anna Mottram and Bob Goody also star.
A Clever Woman will have its World Premiere at Edinburgh
International Film Festival on August 15th, with a further screening on the
August 17th. A UK release is slated for 2023.

The official synopsis reads:
Phoebe and Dot (Josie Lawrence and Tanya Myers) have returned to their family home on the Isle of Wight a year after the death of their composer mother. As they prepare the house for its sale, clearing decades of family clutter, they have started to work on a site-specific performance piece about their complex relationship with their mother and her serial infidelities.
