Directed by Oleh Sentsov, Rhino is a gritty crime drama that
follows a young man's ascent through the ranks of a criminal gang in '90s
Ukraine.
Sentsov is an activist and filmmaker who was sentenced to 20 years in
prison by a Russian court in 2015, due to his opposition to the annexation
of Crimea. After fierce campaigning by human rights groups and colleagues
in the international film community, Sentsov was released in a prisoner
swap between Ukraine and Russia in 2019.
Rhino is on UK/ROI VOD from May 16th.
