 
  Edmund Goulding's 1947 film noir Nightmare Alley starred
    Tyrone Power as a con-man who teamed up with a psychologist (Helen Walker)
    to dupe Chicago's wealthy into believing he had the ability to communicate
    with the dead.
  Guillermo Del Toro's remake sees Bradley Cooper in the Power
    role with Cate Blanchett filling Walker's shoes.
  Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins, Rooney Mara, Ron Perlman
    and David Strathairn also star.
  A UK/ROI release date has yet to be announced for
    Nightmare Alley but you can check out the first trailer and
    the US poster below.
  The official synopsis reads:
In NIGHTMARE ALLEY, an ambitious carny (Bradley Cooper) with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words hooks up with a female psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett) who is even more dangerous than he is.
