Loosely based on writer Margaret Cavendish's 1666 work of the
same name, writer/director Carlson Young's
The Blazing World stars herself as a young woman who discovers
an alternate dimension. Convinced that her sister, who died in a drowning
accident, is alive in this otherworld, she embarks on an epic journey
through this strange land.
Udo Kier, Dermot Mulroney, Vinessa Shaw, Soko and
John Karna also star.
The Blazing World is in US cinemas and on VOD from October
15th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
Decades after the accidental drowning of her twin sister, a self-destructive young woman (Carlson Young) returns to her family home, finding herself drawn to an alternate dimension where her sister may still be alive. Through an epic journey down the darkest corridors of her imagination, she tries to exorcise the demons pushing her closer and closer to the edge.
