With Small Engine Repair, writer/director John Pollono adapts his acclaimed stage play for the screen. The
film stars Pollono, Shea Whigham and Jon Bernthal as three
Bostonian buddies who find their night spiralling out of control when they
try to do a favour for one of their teenage daughters.
Jordana Spiro, Ciara Bravo and Spencer House also star.
Small Engine Repair is in US cinemas from September 10th. A
UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
Frankie (John Pollono), Swaino (Jon Bernthal) and Packie (Shea Wigham) are lifelong friends who share a love of the Red Sox, rowdy bars and Frankie’s teenaged daughter Crystal (Ciara Bravo). But when Frankie invites his pals to a whiskey-fueled evening and asks them to do a favor on behalf of the brash young woman they all adore, events spin wildly out of control.
