Say what you will about M. Night Shyamalan, he's one of the few
filmmakers working in mainstream Hollywood who comes up with interesting and
original concepts, even if they don't always pay off.
His latest, Old, has a compelling premise worthy of Rod Serling, with a family's trip to a
secluded beach turning into a nightmare when they begin aging at a rapid
rate.
The film stars Gael García Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Rufus Sewell, Ken Leung, Nikki
Amuka-Bird, Abbey Lee, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Embeth Davidtz, Eliza
Scanlen, Emun Elliott, Kathleen Chalfant
and Thomasin McKenzie.
Old is in UK/ROI cinemas from July 23rd.
