Writer/director Justin Simien's Bad Hair is a
satirical horror movie set in the '80s. Elle Lorraine plays a young
African-American woman who splashes out on a weave in order to fit in with
the world of music TV. But when the weave takes on a life of its own
bloodshed ensues.
Jay Pharoah, Lena Waithe, Kelly Rowland, Laverne Cox, Chanté Adams, James
Van Der Beek, Usher Raymond IV, Blair Underwood
and Vanessa Williams also star.
Bad Hair is on UK Digital from JUly 5th and DVD/blu-ray from
July 12th.
