Sammo Hung's 1986 genre-blending
The Millionaire's Express sees Hung take on the western genre
in his distinctive style. Combining martial arts with physical comedy, the
film also stars Yuen Biao, Rosamund Kwan, Richard Ng and Cynthia Rothrock.
Newly restored in 2K, The Millionaire's Express makes its
UK blu-ray debut on July 26th when Eureka Entertainment release a limited
edition (3000 copies).
Bonus features include four different versions of the film; a new feature length audio commentary by Asian film expert Frank
Djeng; select scene commentary by Cynthia Rothrock; new audio commentary by Mike Leeder and Arne Venema; new and archival
interviews with Rothrock; archival interviews with Sammo hung, Yuen Biao
and Yukari Oshima.
The disc comes in a limited edition slipcase featuring new artwork by Darren Wheeling and a booklet featuring new writing and rare archival imagery.
