Having transitioned from teen popstar to acclaimed actor,
Billie Piper now makes her directorial debut with
Rare Beasts, which she also wrote and stars in. Piper plays Mandy, a single mother
dealing with the stresses of modern life who develops a relationship with a
troubled man (Leo Bill).
David Thewlis, Toby Woolf, Lily James and Kerry Fox also
star.
Rare Beasts is in UK/ROI cinemas and on Digital from May
7th.
