Many of the slasher movies of the early '80s employed the following format - a group of people are involved in some dastardly act which they appear to initially get away with only to be bumped off one by one by someone, possibly their victim, enacting vengeance.
It's a format that director Jud Cremata returns to for his modern slasher, Let's Scare Julie. In Cremata's film a group of girls are targeted after setting out to play a prank on the titular Julie, their reclusive neighbour. The film stars Troy Leigh-Ann Johnson, Isabel May and Odessa A’zion.
Let's Scare Julie is on UK Digital from December 21st.
