The cult filmmaking duo are back with more trippy sci-fi weirdness.
Over the course of three films (Resolution, Spring, The Endless), the filmmaking duo of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have established themselves as two of the most interesting voices in genre cinema today. Their latest, Synchronic, sees them working with marquee names Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan, while continuing with their distinctive brand of head-melting oddness.
Mackie and Dornan play a pair of New Orleans paramedics who encounter a mysterious psychedelic drug that alters its users perceptions of reality. You can read Ren Zelen's review here.
Synchronic is in US cinemas from October 23rd. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
