First look at director Stuart Stanton's outback horror.
The Australian tourist board must really hate its country's filmmakers. Countless movies have portrayed rural Australia as a hellhole where if the wildlife doesn't kill you, the locals will.
Director Stuart Stanton does nothing to buck this trend with his thriller No Such Thing As Monsters, in which a couple's "quiet" weekend away is interrupted by a murderous family.
The film stars Angel Giuffria, Matthew Clarke, Michaela Celeste, Georgia Crisfield-Smith, Rebecca Fortuna, Jacob Fyfe, Rohana Hayes and David Macrae.
No Such Thing As Monsters is on US DVD/VOD from October 27th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
A young couple, Mary, and David, escape to the woods for a weekend away of rest and relaxation. Mary does not know it, but this is the weekend in which David plans to propose. Everything changes however when they encounter a psychopathic family and they forced to fight back to survive.
