A new doc looks back at Canada's golden age of exploitation cinema.
Thanks to generous tax incentives, Canada saw a boom in exploitation filmmaking from the mid 1970s to the early '80s, spawning the unique sub-genre we now know as Canuxploitation.
A new hour long documentary from filmmakers Xavier Mendik, Deke Richards and Francesco Giannini, Tax Shelter Terrors takes a look at this golden age of Canadian cinema, with talking heads including William Lustig, George Mihalka, Pierre David, Gregory Dunning, André Link and Dyanne Thorne.
You can watch Tax Shelter Terrors for free over at JoBlo's YouTube channel.

The official synopsis reads:
The first feature-length documentary that fully explores how the toxic social and political Canadian context after 1968 created some of the most nihilistic and imaginative Canadian cult films of the 1970s and 80s and beyond.
